Art Teacher K-12 Grade
Studied at Tulsa Community College and the College of Biblical Studies; 10+ years teaching art in both the private school and the homeschool arenas
My journey with Covenant began in 2003, the year it opened. I have been a substitute teacher, office assistant, art, science, and Bible teacher. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching while my daughter was a student at Covenant. I also taught art for the former Encourager Homeschool Enrichment Program before returning to Covenant in 2015. I am beyond thrilled to be the art teacher focused on Covenant's classical Christian philosophy of truth, goodness and beauty. I am blessed to teach in such a godly environment with other believers.
While teaching art is one of my passions, I also have a passion for missions. I have been blessed to combine two of my passions on ten different mission trips where I was able to lead art camps for the children. My husband Steve and I have four wonderful adult children and the sweetest daughter-in-law (no grandchildren yet). In my spare time, I love to hang out with my family, cook and play games. I enjoy several different creative hobbies and keep adding more to my bucket list. But my very favorite thing to do is sit on the beach and paint.
