Director of Admissions
Staff Liaison for Covenant Community Life (CCL)
BS in Family Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park
I began my career as an event planner and fundraiser for non-profit organizations where I relished the opportunity to help support worthy causes. After relocating to Houston, I taught elementary school for several years before “retiring” from that career to stay at home with my children.
When my daughter was four years old I began researching area school options and almost by accident I stumbled upon classical Christian education. It might sound strange but this was the type of education I had always dreamed about, I just didn’t know it existed. I relocated my family to the Cypress area just so that we could be a part of the Covenant community. With my role in Admissions, I have the privilege of meeting families from all walks of life and connecting through our shared passion for the education “we wish we had.” It is my joy to walk alongside families that are discovering classical Christian education for the very first time just like I did.
I have two children; my daughter is in grammar school at Covenant and my son will soon be in Kindergarten. We also have a loveable pit bull named Wendy who mothers us all! You can usually find me at the pool with my kids, spending time with friends, dreaming of my next adventure in Europe or reading historical fiction. Last but not least, I am passionate about orphan care and cannot live without God’s word or chai tea.
